Design connects with concepts like scheme, framework, configuration, pattern, model, conception, and arrangement—terms that truly define Candace Kuan Wen Xian’s world of fashion and design. As an undergraduate in the Fashion and Media Industry at the University of the Arts (UAS-LaSalle), Candace balances her full-time studies with freelance work, staying relevant in the industry by taking on customized projects.

During her internship at FT Consultant, a graphic design company, she worked on projects that allowed her to create frameworks and develop concepts for impactful visual branding. Her role as a full-time sales assistant at COMO Group, dealing with couture, sharpened her skills as a freelance fashion and hair stylist.

Candace was featured in the Female Magazine in 2022 and represented Nanyang Polytechnic in the Crowbar Award 2023. Candace’s ability to identify and work within patterns of design and fashion allows her to configure and arrange styles that resonate. This versatility led her to model for PUMA shoes and become a freelance influencer for Beyond The Vines. Despite her academic commitments, Candace continues to thrive in the fashion and design world.
