Set against the backdrop of an active volcano in Bali, "In The Line Of Fire" is a documentary that unravels an intertwining and pensive portrait of two of its inhabitants and their families. Through an observation of their daily lives, we slowly discover how the volcano binds them in significant ways. Although the volcano is typically seen as an agent of destruction, the people who live near the volcano see it as an agent of life.
