WHAT IS FILM FACILITATION COLLECTIVE?
The Film Facilitation Collective is a 3-day forum (16, 17, 23 Aug) for filmmakers aged 35 and below.
The programme will encourage participants to explore their individual creative processes and broaden their perspectives by fostering community engagement with other local filmmakers.
WHO CAN APPLY?
- Singaporean/PR filmmakers aged 35 and below.
- 8 individuals will be accepted for each track (profession).

Nelicia Low
Director
Pierce (2024)
After retiring as a National Fencer in 2010, Writer-director Nelicia Low's short film, Freeze (2016), screenned at Clermont-Ferrand, Golden Horse and Busan. Her debut feature film Pierce, was awarded the Best Director at the prestigous Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and the Taipei New Horizon Screenplay Award at the 2023 Golden Horse Film Festival.

Lai Weijie

Lai Weijie is a film producer based in Singapore and Toronto, Canada. In 2010 he co-founded E&W Films, a Singapore-based film development and production company with Elizabeth Wijaya. Weijie has several years of experience as a senior programmer at the Singapore International Film Festival, developing its film academy and overseeing its Asian selection. He has served on the selection committee for several fund bodies.

AMOK is a creative label specializing in commercials, branded documentaries, and narrative films. Their client roster includes Meta, Twitch, LG, Singapore Tourism Board, Riot Games, Shopify, and Sony. In 2020, they co-produced the feature documentary André & His Olive Tree, which became Taiwan’s top-grossing documentary of 2022 and is now streaming on Netflix.
Kris Ong
Screenwriter
Ajumma (2022)
Kris Ong is a screenwriter from Singapore who has several original television projects currently in development with networks such as Netflix, StudioCanal, Canal+ and others. Her list of writing credits includes the award-winning Singapore/Korean feature film "Ajoomma," (2022) directed by He Shuming and executive produced by Anthony Chen, for which she was nominated for a Golden Horse Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Some Nights I Feel Like Walking (2024), Tomorrow Is A Long Time (2023)
Russell Morton is a Singaporean filmmaker whose work blends Southeast Asian folklore and ritual with existential themes. His short films—The Forest of Copper Columns (2016), Fish (2019), and Saudade (2020)—have screened at festivals including Fantasia, Sheffield Doc/Fest, Raindance, SGIFF, and Jogja-NETPAC. He was the cinematographer for In My Mother’s Skin (Sundance 2023), Tomorrow Is A Long Time (Berlinale 2023), and Some Nights I Feel Like Walking (Tallinn Black Nights). He is currently developing his debut feature, Penumbra (2026).

Huzir Sulaiman is a co-founder and Joint Artistic Director of Checkpoint Theatre. His practice includes writing, directing, and performing for stage and screen; dramaturgy; teaching and mentorship; creative consultancy; and producing.

Production Designer James Page’s oeuvre spans theatre, film and advertising. Works include Yeo Siew Hua’s A Land Imagined (Golden Leopard, Locarno 2018), Boo Junfeng’s Apprentice (Cannes, 2016) and Rajagopal’s A Yellow Bird (Cannes, 2016).
Huang Junxiang

Huang Junxiang is an award-winning producer known for his work in films such as Apprentice (Cannes 2016), Tiong Bahru Social Club (Busan International Film Festival 2020) and In My Mother’s Skin (Sundance 2023).
As a director, he has directed shorts like Give Yourself a Chance (2012), Piece of Meat (Cannes 2019), as well as music video The Road Ahead (2021).
For his efforts, he won the Youth Inspiration Award in the Singapore National Youth Film Awards 2020.
Charlyn Ng

Charlyn Ng has produced commercials, feature films and scripted series across Asia. Charlyn executive produced and produced My Mini-me and Me (2021) and Forbidden (2021) for HBO Max, selected for Busan’s On screen section, and produced season 2 of HBO’s The Teenage Psychic (2017). She also produced Operation Undead (2024) and Be Your Knight (2024), and The Secret House (2026), which premiered at Taipei International Film Festival in June 2025.

Rayann Condy is a certified Intimacy Coordinator with IDC (USA) making her one of the first qualified intimacy professionals in Southeast Asia with works across TV/Film and theatre, including How I Learned to Drive (Esplanade Production); Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf by Pangdemonium, The Last Bout (currently on Ch 5); Emmy nominated web series People Like Us (Season 3), Stranger Eyes by Siew Hua Yeo.
