Ashley Jane Leow is a writer-director and editor based in Singapore.

She dove headfirst into capturing moments with a camera during her first film lesson at School of the Arts (SOTA). An IMDA SG:D scholarship recipient, she honed her craft at Paris College of Art and Emerson College, experiencing diverse cultures in Paris, Boston, and the Netherlands. From there, she emerged with a BFA in Film Art and a personal perspective on storytelling.

Her work often explores themes of personal connection, collective loneliness and cultural identity.

Ashley Jane aims to tell honest stories that bridge cultural gaps, finding magic in the minutiae with hopes that her films are not just seen, but deeply felt.
