Olivia Wong graduated with a diploma in Film, Sound and Video (FSV) from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where she worked on a variety of short films, event collaterals and independent projects.
As someone who is devoted to the process of turning concepts into reality, she turned to video editing, where she made her debut with the short film Love Her (2021), followed up by the documentary Made For Ages (2022) and Capstone film The Hollow Men (2023), where she ventured into music composition and short animation to enhance the film’s post-production.
She then made her official debut as Director of Photography with Birthmarks, which earned her a nomination for Best Cinematography at the Singapore Youth Festival 2024.
Olivia seeks to continuously challenge herself and expand her knowledge with every project. With every new unexplored area, she gains new perspectives, and she hopes to be able to mould others’ perspectives through her work as a result.
