Take a peek behind-the-scenes of the upcoming sci-fi comedy feature film by Singapore director Cheng Chai Hong. In the film, a government worker encounters a homeless man who claims to be an alien and needs help to find his missing doomsday device in order to save the world.

Cheng Chai Hong's foray into new media began with his first comedy web series, Average Guys. The positive reception affirmed Chai Hongʼs understanding of omillennial audiences. Shortly after, he joined SGAG as Creative Manager, taking another chance on his brand of humour. His stint there saw a rise in the popularity of their sketches and resulted in the creation of hit web series: Neighbourhood Watch Task Force. With a strong sense of personal style and penchant for off-beat humour, Chai Hongʼs work entertains through stories that seek to connect with audiences across backgrounds.

Tan Jia Min
Tan Jia Minʼs works centers narrative works across short and long form mediums, with a focus on story development and audience outreach. She started her producing journey with development work in Taipan Films, which led to her creating and producing web series 1000 Cups To Midnight (2021). She oversaw the post-production, as well as initial marketing strategies for local creature feature, Circle Line (2023). Most recently, she produced Kew Linʼs Aunt Lotus & Her Bicycle Dream (2022), which was an official selection at Leiden International Film Festival and the Oscars-qualifying Short Shorts Film Festival. She has also refined her producing instincts by participating in IFFRʼs Producerʼs Lab, as well as Full Circle Labʼs Fiction Lab in 2022.

Lee Yi Jia
Lee Yi Jiaʼs body of work embraces narrative, non-fiction, and brand films. She produced NSFTVʼs popular series, Girls Girls Girls , before working on independent short films like Chomp It! (2023), which went on to screen at international festivals like International Film Festival Rotterdam, Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg, and more. In addition to narratives, Yi Jia has produced numerous documentaries for Viddsee and branded content for Vice Asia and Google. Always excited to develop her skills further, she is also an alumni of the IMDA Producerʼs Lab and the Busan Asian Film Schoolʼs International Film Business Academy.

Martin is a Singapore-based filmmaker with a multidisciplinary approach and deep curiosity. His unexpected journey into film began at university, where he was inspired by classics like Bicycle Thieves, Aimless Bullet, and 15. This led to his fascination with the creative process led him to document the journeys of artists, capturing raw, unseen moments. Martinʼs recent documentary, Sandcastles, premiered at SXSW 2024, showcasing his belief in the power of storytelling to connect across time and space. With a documentarianʼs eye and a love for the craft, Martin creates narratives that resonate deeply, bridging generations and revealing the essence of human experience.
