AMELIA SAI is a sound designer and composer with 8 years of industry experience. After graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Film, Sound & Video, she started out in the film industry doing casting and 2nd assistant directing.

Subsequently, her inherent interest in film soundscapes led her to pursue sound design.

She has since worked on the sounds for various projects, ranging from commercials to series and feature films. Having both production and post-production experiences provides her with a deeper insight into the intricacies behind storytelling, and honed her instincts in her craft as a sound designer.

Her most recent work was on ‘Mongrel’ as Sound Editor, which has gone on to receive Special Mention at Cannes Film Festival, and nominated for ‘Best Sound Effects’ in Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival amidst six other nominations for the film.
