CHENG CHAI CHAI HONG​ is a Singaporean director and screenwriter. Since starting as a 2nd Assistant Director on “A Yellow Bird”, Chai Hong has gone on to work as a commercial director and TV writer. His commercial work includes projects for Singapore Tourism Board, Changi Airport Group, Temasek Foundation International, and Lazada. In 2022, he was invited to attend Fantastic Film School at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.

Alongside his commercial portfolio, his work on popular indie comedy web series ​”Average Guys” and ​”Neighbourhood Watch Task Force”​ has also led to a career in social and digital media, serving as Creative Manager for social media page SGAG. His short films have screened at Singapore Short Cuts and the National Youth Film Awards, while his writing credits also include Amazon Prime series “Ahjoomma”, primetime drama “Tanglin”, award-winning kids comedy “Whoopie’s World”, with his work on “Mr Kiasu 2.0” winning Best Screenplay at the Asia Web Awards.

He co-founded the collective Extraordinary Moviemaking Division (EMD), which is in post-production for his debut feature film, “We Can Save The World!!!”
