Juliana has always been intrigued by how films are crafted, especially the nuances in the writing and directing process. Her interest is in telling stories through distinctive viewpoints, drawing from her theatre background to explore how emotions and empathy can drive narratives. She wants to keep honing her writing and expand her skills to producing and directing.

Currently, she is a writer-producer and is scripting her debut audio docu-drama. For the next few years, she’ll chase the incomparable fulfilment and awe that comes from seeing words on paper come to life on film through sweat, stress and sleepless nights. Dreaming about the day she’ll find the spark of an impossible story, set her keyboard aflame with how fast she’ll write and do everything in her power to make sure that show glows, shining with a hope that could illuminate the world.

Outside of filmmaking, you could probably find her in a park, eating ice-cream and contemplating her tiny existence in the wake of a beautiful sunset.
