OKJ (Ong Kah Jing / 王傢靖) is a Cultural Documentary Storyteller specialising in Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Unconventionally, he lacks formal film training but boasts a decade of experience, ensuring his stories resonate with audiences. Leveraging his multi-disciplinary education in Hospitality and Business, OKJ presents new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations. His signature form of method directing involves immersing himself in the subject matter, sometimes over a year, to do justice to stories.

His unique experiential documentary, A Feeling of Music Playing, played to a sold out crowd at Singapore’s largest Dolby Atmos cinema. It was subsequently picked up by Singapore Airlines for the world to see.

He had also launched a documentary podcast, Qrious Culture to champion the works of other documentary filmmakers. The first season was supported by the Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism.

The trust placed upon OKJ results in compelling documentaries worth experiencing and sharing. OKJ is currently developing his Qrious Culture Podcast and his portrait documentary series, A Piece of Mine. He had also expanded into being an on-screen presenter for information programming while continuing to develop new documentaries on intangible cultural heritage in ASEAN and China.
