Soh Lixia

Eze (pronounced Izzy) a.k.a Lixia is a Singaporean filmmaker of Burmese descent, known for their poignant visual storytelling. They graduated with a diploma in Film, Sound, Video from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and transitioned from Assistant Directing on feature film sets to lensing and directing several independent productions.

Their notable DOP works include "Like Shadows Through Leaves" (directed by Lucy Davis), which received the Oberhausen ISFF FIPRESCI Award and Best Singapore Short Film at SGIFF 2021. Additionally, "Kin" and “What’s softest in the world” (directed by Charmaine Poh) has been featured on Nowness Asia and was selected to be presented at the prestigious Venice Biennale 2024. Passionate about using film to amplify marginalized voices across the Asia Pacific region, Eze continues to push artistic boundaries, aiming to engage and provoke audiences globally with their keen eye for storytelling.
