Theo Ho is a sound designer, writer and producer currently studying Sociology at Singapore Management University (SMU). As a graduate of the School of the Arts (SOTA) specializing in Literary Arts and Film, Theo is eager to seek out untold narratives and explore new ways to reflect poignant social issues, especially those faced by local marginalized groups. Theo has worked on a myriad of other projects, including award winning films Loved Girls Wear Short Shorts (dir. Megan Teo, 2022) and Millennium Tides (dir. Rachel Pary, 2021), both of which have been screened locally and internationally at film festivals. Currently, Theo is working on a documentary regarding land reclamation on Singapore’s shores, as well as an audio drama set to release in early 2025. Apart from film, Theo works part-time at the startup Nomad Food LLP alongside two fellow founders, aiming to reduce food insecurity among Singapore’s migrant worker population. The SYFF nominated film The Seven Seas Of Sage (2024) is Theo’s official debut as a producer.
