From a young age, Susan has always been captivated by the compelling narratives of drama series. Taking a leap of faith after graduating with a Diploma in Psychology Studies, she interned on various productions, immersing herself in the field and learning the ropes while on the job.
Susan decided to further her studies in the BA (Hons) Film programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, feeding her desire to learn and explore more creatively. She discovered a passion for stories which resonate with the human experience, particularly those that shed light on societal issues. The Mighty Turtle (2023) which she produced was screened at UNICA KOREA International Film Festival and received honourable mention at the Student World Impact Film Festival.
In her final year, Susan led Trilingual Education Programme (2024) as the producer. A film which showcases Singapore’s unique culture and the pressing issue of dialect loss, Susan aspires to produce films that both entertain and provoke thought, while sparking meaningful conversations.
