Zul Zaufishan is an illustrator with a deep love for all things creative and has been passionate about the arts, both visual and performative. During their time with ITE Theatrical Ensemble (2018–2020), Zul took on various roles, acting as Sean in The Long View by Alan Haehnel, Veron in ITE’s adaptation of Hamlet, and Jessie in Fading Pieces, an original script by Mohammed Ashydiq. The Seven Seas of Sage (2024) is their first time exploring art direction with full curiosity and have also begun diving into mural projects.
Graduated from NAFA with a diploma in Design Illustration with Animation in, Zul freelances while focusing on personal projects. Known as "Zee Fish" online, they enjoy creating self-indulgent characters, chatting with friends about games, and sharing their latest hyperfixations. They also founded Singapore’s Original Character Trading Card project, where OC creators trade cards at local conventions.
When Zul’s not working, you can find them attending conventions, setting up art booths, cosplaying, or lending a hand to the Comic Club at NAFA as an alumnus. Working towards becoming a comic illustrator, they’re still finding the confidence to share more of their work online.
You can catch their occasional updates on Instagram @zeefish.art.
