Aaron Andrew Ang is a Cinematographer who grew up in Singapore. Having graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts with a BA(HONS) in Film, his multidisciplinary approach to filmmaking is influenced by his sensitivity and past experiences.

His artistic preferences have led him to enjoy experimenting with physical effects, natural light, darkness, dark humor, design, and beauty.

Translating the human condition into luminescence, composition and movement, Aaron infuses his films with a youthful and daring expression, fusing unfiltered emotion with a distinctive cinematic aesthetic.

Aaron’s work spans both the narrative and commercial space, with his range of styles and disciplines covers from bright, aspirational lifestyle pieces, to compelling, moody and dramatic scenes.

His work has also been recognised by local arts organisations and features such as Nowness Asia, OH! Open House, Singapore Youth Film Festival, TIFA Working Studios and T:>Works Singapore, and numerous international film festivals like Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Chaktomuk Short Film Festival, Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival, Fantasia Film Festival, Goa Short Film Festival, Nightmares Film Festival and Thessaloniki Cinedance International.

His commercial works have been screened around the globe, notably working on commercial campaigns with Amazon, Meta, Instagram, Intel, Macallan, Johnsons & Johnsons, Rolls-Royce, Olay, Lego, Libresse, Fanta, Google, NME, Pomelo, Spotify, Solana, Steinway & Sons - to name a few.
