Lijie is a sound designer, production sound mixer, and occasional producer based in Singapore. A fellow of Busan’s Asian Film Academy, his works have screened at major international festivals including Locarno, Busan, BFI London, Sheffield DocFest, and Rotterdam. Most recently, he mixed and designed Lei Yuan Bin’s feature documentary Baby Queen (Visions du Réel, Busan, SGIFF) and Nelson Yeo’s feature 好久不见 (Here and There, Winner of the Locarno Golden Leopard). He is also a two-time recipient of the Best Sound Design Award at the National Youth Film Awards, and was selected for DPA Microphones’ global sponsorship program in 2021.
