As an aspiring cinematographer based in Singapore, Clemens has been practicing his craft for the past 8 years. With a background in Mass Media Management from Nanyang Polytechnic, Clemens started up and founded his own production house, Clemens Chua Productions. With experience in documentary filmmaking and short films, Clemens expanded into short form content over the past two years, opening up new services to clients on the social media space.

Clemens directed a short documentary film, titled “I, Danced.”, which won the 22nd Season of the World Film Carnival Singapore. Soon after, he was the Director of Photography as well as Editor for a screendance film, titled “Outbreak”, which was an official selection in the Lion City Dance Film Festival 2023.

Together with his passion for filmmaking and dance, Clemens enjoys teaching – which lead to an ongoing partnership with a street dance collective called “What You Know”, where Clemens heads the What You Know Media Internship Program, taking in 2 interns every year for 6 months.
