Gerard “Nagu” Nagulendran is a Singaporean graduate from Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Film, Sound & Video diploma course and is currently enrolled in Nanyang Technological University, School of Art, Design and Media for his Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Media Art. He specialises in writing, directing, and producing his own short films to push the boundaries of storytelling.

Currently, he is interested in themes of personal growth and change, as well as how people communicate what is important to them with one another.
Nagu’s polytechnic thesis short film “Kebelakang Pusing” premiered worldwide at the 14th Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival 2019 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
