With an early interest in all things music, photography, and film, Russell first found his love for art direction on the film sets of his musical peers. Starting in 2015, he has since worked on a plethora of visual sets for a wide array of music artists, pop-up events and third spaces, as well as set design ranging from music videos to photo sets, as well as commercials, narrative series, and short films. More recently bringing it back to his community in music, he has worked on multiple Stage Designs, working with electronic shows like Ice Cream Sundays, as well as festivals such as Majulah Festival, Comma Festival 2023 & 2024, and Sunda Festival. His work covers multiple disciplines ranging from music with his band ROYAL ESTATE and ad-hoc sound-scaping, Set Design, Graphic Design, Photography, and Videography.
