Mingwei is an emerging media artist currently studying at the School of Arts, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. With a focus on filmmaking, Mingwei has taken on the role of sound director for two narrative short films, where her interest in sound design shines through in crafting immersive soundscapes. She has also gained hands-on experience in other secondary roles, developing a comprehensive understanding of film production.

As an aspiring cinematographer, Mingwei delves into the art of lighting and camera techniques, always seeking to create visually striking narratives. Her exploration spans into photography, participating in studio projects and collaborative shoots in her photographic endeavor, with a particular interest in street and conceptual photography.

Driven by a desire to tell impactful stories, Mingwei aims to create films that resonate with the audience, prompting reflection and emotional engagement. Whether through moving pictures or evocative photographs, her work strives to capture the essence of human experience, allowing narratives to live on long after the final frame.
