Hattie Lee

Hattie Lee graduated from Lasalle, College of the Arts in 2016, and is committed to tell stories of the invisible. They have had experience as a crew on various forms of storytelling, from documentary to fiction narratives and ranging from short films to feature length films. Hattie’s approach to storytelling is set in the form of pain and suffering, and allows audiences to view it as raw as possible, no matter the subject at hand.

Some of Hattie’s works include If They Can’t Be Loved (2020), which talks about abusive relationships and their after effects, and Learn First to Die (2023), a series that focuses on the grief of a mother having lost her first child.

To Hattie Lee, there is nothing more important than viewing another person’s pain from a perspective as fresh and as real as possible, believing that there is no point in sugarcoating someone else’s suffering. And as long as there is grief that everyone has to handle, there will also be hope through our journeys.

Their mantra is repeated in every story they tell, as a backbone to their narratives: Help Exists, Hope Exists.
