Kin Leonn is an ambient artist, composer, and producer known for his deeply immersive sound and forward-thinking approach to electronic and ambient music. He first gained recognition as a founding member of the electronic outfit midst, before debuting solo on Singapore/Tokyo-based KITCHEN. LABEL. His work now spans studio albums, film scores, and sound installations, amongst a plethora of sonic commissions. He also remains an active figure in the music community as a producer, selector, and mixing and mastering engineer.
In extension, his original score compositions for films including The Breaking Ice (燃冬) by Anthony Chen and Crocodile Tears by Tumpal Tampubolon have been showcased at major festivals including Cannes, Busan, and Toronto. In the realm of installation art, he has also designed numerous multi-channel sonic installations – notably for Singapore Art Museum, ArtScience Museum, Singapore Night Festival, and more.
