Jane, known online as Miaveryy, is a Singapore-based composer whose music evokes deep emotion, storytelling, and moments of yearning. Her artistry was most recently showcased in Kino Red Dot, where her work brought warmth, yearning and resonance to the screen. Trained in classical piano and theory from a young age, she participated in the National Piano and Violin Competition; her gained knowledge is now used in her compositions. In her youth, she began mixing vocals for various Vocaloid and J-pop artists, with collaborations still available on her YouTube playlist — early experiences that shaped her keen ear and creative vision. Having graduated from NTU with a degree in Bioengineering, Jane continues to balance her day job with her enduring passion for music. As a composer, she wants to be able to create layers of imagination while still hitting home at pertinent times.
