Justin Wu is an 18-year-old Chinese student living in Singapore, currently attending XCL World Academy. He moved from China to Singapore two years ago and has been living there ever since. As one of the founding members of the school's Media Club, which produced the short film Mother’s Recipe, Justin has played a vital role in the club's projects. Although he had experience in production from his time at school in China, for Mother’s Recipe, he made a shift into cinematography, serving as the director of photography. His extensive knowledge of lighting allowed him to expertly illuminate scenes to enhance the emotional narrative of the film. Justin is now continuing to apply his skills as the director of photography for the Media Club’s upcoming short film, Unnoticed, which is currently in production. As a senior at XCL World Academy, he is also preparing to study abroad to further pursue his passion for filmmaking.
