My name is Keesha, a 20 year old young adult from Malacca with a passion for nursing and healthcare. I was hospitalised once at a young age and from it, I was inspired by our dedicated healthcare workers who prioritise our health and wellbeing, which set me on the path to where I am today, a final year nursing student set to become a registered nurse by next year.
Despite that, I also have an appreciation for cinematography and films. I enjoy watching films with underlying messages and piecing together the symbolisms with friends; and one of these beloved friends of mine is Sayang. Her honest and genuine passion in film is enlightening. When she shared her visions and asked me to be a part of her film ‘The Core As An Enemy’, I was filled with excitement and enthusiasm.
I am proud and elated that this film has received nominations from the Singapore Youth Film Festival 2024. I eagerly look forward to seeing Sayang’s future works and achievements, knowing she will continue to inspire many with her unique creativity.
