Luo Zhiyang is a filmmaker based in Singapore whose work spans art direction, directing, producing, cinematography and editing. He works across short films and collaborations with theatre and dance groups, bringing experience in both creative development and the practical demands of filmmaking.

At the National University of Singapore, Zhiyang has served as President of nuSTUDIOS Film Productions, leading student film projects and organising screenings and discussions. His work with the society includes collaborations with NUS Chinese Drama and d'Hoppers Dance Crew, taking on roles across directing, cinematography, production and post-production. He has also worked in curation and event organisation for NUS Open Call.

Alongside his filmmaking, Zhiyang created Firstroll, a personal film-study website that extends his engagement with cinema beyond the set. His experience across different crew roles informs a collaborative approach to making films, connecting the visual choices of art direction with the needs of the story and the wider production.
