Lyra Arielle Yu is an emerging young artist whose journey spans music, dance, and acting. Beginning ballet, piano, and art classes at the age of three, she soon revealed a rare gift for music with perfect pitch. By six, she was selected into the Elite Ballet Programme and became a finalist at the Happy Pianist Festival 2023. That same year, she entered the YAMAHA Junior Special Advance Course (JSAC), majoring in Electone and composition, with her first original work premiering at the JOC Concert in September 2025.

Her artistry soon extended to acting. In 2023, Lyra was discovered by international casting director, Josclynne Kua, and cast as “Huiqi” in Ang Geck Geck’s film ‘Ah Girl’, marking her screen debut. She has since expanded her portfolio with brand commercials, including the Singapore Oceanarium reopening campaign, and appearances in Mediacorp Chinese dramas.

In June 2025, Lyra’s musical excellence was further recognised with the ‘Distinguished Award’ at the Yamaha Electone Festival. At only eight years old, Lyra continues to flourish as a multi-talented performer, balancing her artistic passions with aspirations of building a professional career in acting.
