Megan Teo is a queer Writer-Producer and Production Designer, raised in Singapore and based in London.

Part of the pioneering batch of Literary Arts students in SOTA, their Production Design has a strong story-centric approach. Aiming to capture a time, place and people, Teo conducts extensive research and discussions to build the world into their design. No detail is too small.

They also have a background in prop-and costume-making, with work on the BBC One Show, Asian Film Archive (AFA), Prime Video and Mayor of London. Their current credits include Raindance-winning 'The Lonely Musketeer' (Schumann, 2024), 'Snapshot' (Archer, 2026), the Enrich Fried documentary 'Friendly Fire' (Fried, 2026), and the award-winning horror short 'MARROW' (Grimes, 2025). They're also developing a feature doc and a medieval lesbian rom-com titled 'One Knight Stand' set to shoot Spring 2026.

With a passion for global storytelling and amplifying underrepresented voices, Teo's work aims to challenge genre, convention and form.
