Michelle Kham is a recent graduate of Nanyang Technological University’s School of Art, Design and Media (ADM), where she specialized in Animation and Media Art and graduated with First Class Honours. Passionate about stories that highlight the quiet and unique discomforts of human experience, her final-year film Clementine (2024) explores themes of identity, change, and self-acceptance after the loss of something once deeply tied to one’s sense of self. Her work focuses on conveying storytelling through atmosphere, environment, and visual metaphors to create immersive and emotionally resonant visual experiences for audiences.
As of 2025, Clementine was licensed by CinemaWorld Asia for screening and distribution across their platforms and has been officially selected for multiple international short film festivals, including the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2024, Ionian Contemporary Animation Festival ICONA 2024, and AnimArte 2025 - 18th International Student Animation Festival of Brazil, among others.
