Nicolette is a Communication Studies graduate from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU), where she specialised in Broadcast and Cinema Studies. With a passion for storytelling and video production, she actively participated in several significant projects during her studies. She produced the short films Sidelined, which earned Best Impact Film at the Third Mental Health Film Festival Singapore (MHFFS) Short Film Youth Competition, and Flat Flipping, selected for the SONY & Butterworks Mentorship Programme. She also took on the role of Assistant Producer and 1st Assistant Director for Playing Pondan, a film nominated for Best Youth Film at the Ninth National Youth Film Awards.

After completing a credit-bearing internship at August Pictures, where she gained valuable on-set experience in drama and documentary productions, she embarked on her thesis film, From Before, as Producer. Currently, she works as a Marketing Executive in the floral industry, leading video production for marketing campaigns and blending creative storytelling with strategic insights to elevate brand presence.
