Hamraa is a professional logger of films on Letterboxd.
A graduate of Nanyang Technological University’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication & Information, she was head programmer at the Perspectives Film Festival in 2022, and honorary general secretary at the NTU Film Society in AY23-24. She also participated in the 34th SGIFF Youth Critics Program.
She is inspired by Agnès Varda’s portrayal of women, Gregg Araki and Sofia Coppola’s use of music, and Jacques Tati’s comedic sensibilities.
She loves all things analog – she takes photos on 35mm film and collects vinyl records as a hobby. She is also a self-proclaimed jukebox for early 2010s pop music.
