Terry Tan De Hao

Terry is a visual creative with over nine years of experience working on diverse projects, including narrative films, documentaries and corporate videos. He graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, where he received the Best Graduate Award, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Art (Filmmaking) from the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

As Producer of his thesis film Paper Planes, Don’t Always Soar, Terry led the production while collaborating with organisations to bring the film to life. His commitment to sustainability led him to spearhead the Green Filmmaking Initiative, which was recognised with the Green Seal for Students by the Environmental Media Association—the first for NTU. This achievement placed his team among industry giants like Walt Disney, marking a significant milestone for sustainable filmmaking in the region.

Currently appointed as Multimedia Producer for the Faculty of Science at the National University of Singapore, Terry produces thought leadership videos profiling scientific breakthroughs and academic achievements. His work features insightful content that highlights institutional accomplishments and leadership perspectives, showcasing the university’s growth and contributions to science and education.

Driven to tell meaningful stories, Terry strives to create work that makes a lasting impact and inspires positive change.
