Toh E-Vyn is a multi-disciplinary content producer with a passion for documentary filmmaking and storytelling. She is dedicated to amplifying the voices of small or marginalized communities and believes that compelling stories can be found in every corner of the world. Raising awareness for important social issues has been E-Vyn’s goal since childhood, which inspired her to pursue a career as a documentarian.
Recently graduated from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, E-Vyn aspires to establish herself as a multi-platform storyteller, working across a range of formats from traditional short films to interactive digital content. She hopes to one day cover stories from abroad.
"Casting a Light on the Dance of Darkness in Singapore" was born from E-Vyn’s personal interest and involvement in the local dance community. The documentary focuses on Butoh, a Japanese art form that is small but growing in Singapore. E-Vyn’s work aims to highlight the resilience and complexity of the human experience.
